International Journal of Analytical Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography国际质谱和色谱分析杂志
Aims & Scope
International Journal of Analytical Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography (IJAMSC) is an open access journal. The goal of the journal is to provide a platform for scientists, researchers and practitioners in industry and academia all over the world to present views, discuss new issues, and promote developments in all areas of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography.
We will provide a forum for the presentation of:
A. theoretical and practical development of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography as dynamic expanding field of sciences;
B. development of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography in research, instrumentation, methodology, and industrial application;
C. applications of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography in clinical diagnostics, forensic medicine, drug discovery and drug control, monitoring of environmental pollutions, analyses of natural products and toxins;
D. advantage of the use of Supercritical Fluid Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry as a Green type of analysis;
E. application of Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry in isomer and stereoisomer analysis.
F. application ofMass Spectrometry, Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry,Capillary Electrophoresis and Capillary Electrophoresis - Mass Spectrometry to polymeric macromolecules, especially to biomolecules as: peptides, proteins, polysaccharides, lipopolysaccharides and polynucleotides. Use of Direct Mass Spectrometry Protein Deconvolution, DNA Mixture Profile Deconvolution, Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) deconvolution as modern type of analyses.
G. Presentation of newsoftware for Automated Chromatography -, Mass Spectrometry - and Deconvolution.
Publications will highlight the development and practices in sample preparation and specific derivatization for Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography, the connection of the analytical instrumentation in combinations for providing a high accuracy measurement as in Gas Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (GC-MS), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) with Supersonic Molecular Beam (SMB), High Speed Gas Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (HSGC-MS), Supercritical Fluid Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (SFC-MS), Liquid Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and Capillary Electrophoresis-Mass spectrometry (CE-MS) as well as using these combination of instrumentation in Mass Spectroscopy for molecular structure elucidation in organic and inorganic molecules. Mass Spectrometry alone is not enantiospecific, however in connection with chiral chromatography it is an excellent tool for elucidation of the structure of enantiomers. The usefulness of capillary electrophoresis and capillary electro-chromatography in peptide and protein analyses is difficult to overestimate. The connection of MS to CE is developing. This is an important field that requires knowledge-sharing in a global context.
The sample taking and sample preparation to Chromatography, Mass spectrometry or Chromatography in connection to Mass spectrometry constitute an important part in all analytical procedures. Theoretical and practical use in research and applications of supercritical- and subcritical fluids are included in topics as new and important development.
